Daniel M. Adams
Attorney Dan Adams’ practice focuses on individuals confronting criminal investigation or prosecution. Attorney Adams is noted for his courtroom successes – especially winning high-stakes jury trials. Just as importantly, Attorney Adams often succeeds in resolving criminal matters quickly and quietly with no charges ever being filed. Whatever method is needed, Attorney Adams is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for his clients’ problems. As a Criminal Defense Attorney based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Attorney Adams represents clients throughout the Badger State.
Prior to entering private practice, Dan Adams worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office and as a Deputy District Attorney in Carson City, Nevada. In those roles Attorney Adams was responsible for prosecuting thousands of drunk driving, theft, burglary, fraud, narcotics, child abuse, property, gaming, and complex white-collar offenses.
Recently, Attorney Adams has lectured nationally at criminal defense conferences on the topics of defending drug overdose homicide cases and sentencing mitigation. During his former life as a prosecutor, Attorney Adams lectured at police academies, instructing cadets on criminal justice and constitutional concepts. He also advised police in their day-to-day and long-term investigations. This experience has given him an incredible working knowledge of how law enforcement agencies function.
In 2020, Attorney Adams’ work was highlighted in an issue of the New Yorker magazine.
