The 538 blog maintained by former New York Times’ data scientist Nate Silver has published a fascinating article analyzing different approaches of dealing with opiate addiction. The opiate epidemic has hit the entire country hard. Wisconsin has not been left out. As we’ve explained in an earlier piece found here this epidemic has led to some very serious criminal charges (including so-called “Len Bias Homicides”) being issued by Wisconsin district attorneys’ offices.
